Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Show-stopping vegan gelato in the Mission! Once I got a TRIPLE-SCOOP of soy chocolate, blood-orange sorbet, and soy vanilla, and wasn't even full, the ice cream was so yummy! I often get the soy milkshakes. They make egg-free and dairy-free ice cream cakes (made to order), sundaes, etc. No vegan whipped cream yet, but I keep encouraging them to get some! Ck out their crepes & sandwiches."
