Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"I was there 4 years ago, and I had the lunch buffet. They come over to your table and scoop food out of "cow buckets" (looks like cleaning bucket. (it's actually respectful to serve at your table. Overall, I ate too much and felt too full afterwards. They had a daikon dish that was my favorite. I usually go to the Cash And Carry grocery store next door and buy a 75cents samosa. "
