Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"WOW! We haven't had this good of food since our very favorite place in the world, Fragrance Land, closed last year! We had the Vietnamese Crepe and it was AWESOME! Tasted like egg fu yung, from how I remember it before my vegan days. We had the Lotus Salad, but something in it was really spicey HOT, so that wasn't a big hit with us. We LOVE Merit! We've gone back 3 times already in two weeks! "
