Advocacy Rewards Program 2004-2005

all while having fun and maybe winning some prizes at the
same time?
Then volunteer with Bay Area Vegetarians
and make your efforts count in the Advocacy Rewards Program!
The intent of the Advocacy Rewards
Program is to recognize and thank
individuals for their contributions and support of vegan
advocacy events within Bay Area Vegetarians and our local
community. Every BAV advocacy event will have a point value
attached to it. You earn points by participating in the
activity. You earn even more points by organizing
the activity.

to be a BAV event and qualify for the Advocacy Rewards Program,
please contact us with the details before you start promoting it.

Schedule
Program will run from beginning
of October thru end of September, with prizes awarded on
a yearly basis at an October celebration. For the first year
only, we will start in August 2004 and run thru September
2005.
Prizes
Prizes will be distributed by a drawing, with more points
equalling more chances at the prizes.
Certificates will be awarded to folks with the highest points. |

Adding Events
Feel free to suggest other events for
the program. If the event is a not a Bay Area Vegetarians event
then the following applies:
- Organizer must first contact us to enter the event into the ARP and establish the ARP point value.
- All
public communications (email, website, newsletter, etc) asking
for volunteers must also include ARP point value, and link
back to www.bayareaveg.org/arp.htm. Logo and graphic available on request.
- List of volunteers must be provided
to BAV within 15 days after the event (first & last name,
city, email address) so that points can be recorded.
- If the event or group is big enough,
contributing towards the prize pool is encouraged and gratefully
appreciated.
