Unlike other book clubs, vegan refreshments that everyone can enjoy will be part of the experience (either during or after the discussion). 8 general books will be discussed, and 4 vegetarian/animal rights books. =0D=0A=0D=0AThe first meeting is to be held on Sunday, 1/22/06 at 5 pm at a veg*n restaurant still to be determined. We'll have an early vegan dinner while we discuss the book. There is room for 9 participants, and the deadline (as long as space is available) for you to RSVP is Thursday 1/5/06. All RSVPs confirmed within three days. If you don't get a response, please kindly send another email.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ADecisions about future books will be determined at meetings and you can also post your ideas for books and restaurants at www.bayareaveg.org/forum/ under the category BAVeg Book Club; you should see the appropriate topic there for you to post.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AIf you've been following our book club thread at http://bayareaveg.org/forum/ under the category BAVeg Book Club, I've edited my own posts there to reflect the change in meeting time and places and the number of members we will accept.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AKeeping the meetings to 9 participants and eating while we talk should make the meetings more informal and enjoyable, and will allow for full participation by all attendees.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0APlease check out the web site.
