We’ll be writing letters to state and federal legislators, corporations etc. encouraging compassion towards animals.  New activists especially encouraged to attend - this is an easy way to get started helping animals, and meet others with similar interests in the East Bay.  And we'll enjoy good vegan food along the way. =0D=0A=0D=0A**New venue and time this month:=0D=0A=0D=0A-We're meeting at Cafe Gratitude, 1730 Shattuck Ave in Berkeley at 7:00 sharp.  Because this is a busy restaurant, we can only hold seats for 10 minutes after reservation start time, so please be timely to guarantee your seat. =0D=0A=0D=0A-Note new start time of 7:00.  We'll start writing letters around 7:30.=0D=0A=0D=0APlease bring the name of your State & Federal legislators (click here).  Your hosts will provide issues to write on, paper, pens, and envelopes – but feel free to bring your own.  It’s also helpful to bring stamps.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0APlease RSVP at least one day before the event and we'll save you a seat.  Day-of RSVPs will be accommodated as space allows but can’t be guaranteed a seat.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AThis is a monthly event happening on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in Berkeley.
