Is there anyone available and willing to host these events?"  =0D=0A=0D=0AUpdate 3/17:  Njeri is hosting the KFC protest but can not host the LWP.  But folks can of course head there for lunch after the KFC protest and perhaps someone will end up bringing alerts, paper, & pens.  =0D=0A=0D=0A------------------------------=0D=0A=0D=0A"Companies and politicians know how easy it is to send an e-mail or form letter these days, so handwritten letters really get noticed. I always have fun at the LWPs (I swear, it's not like writing letters at home!), and feel so good afterwards about what we've accomplished." =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AFor this month's letter writing party, we'll have a vegan lunch then write letters at Bok Choy Garden at 1820 Clement St (at 19th Ave).  =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AWe will be writing letters to the editor, letters to state, county, and federal legislators and officials encouraging compassion to animals, etc.  We will be a voice for the voiceless with our personal, handwritten, high-impact letters.  =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ANew activists are encouraged to attend!  This is a monthly event usually happening on the 3rd Saturday.  This event happens rain or shine.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AIt's helpful if you can also bring:=0D=0A=0D=0A-pen and paper=0D=0A=0D=0A-envelopes=0D=0A=0D=0A-name of your State & Federal legislators (click here=0D=0A=0D=0A-veg or animal rights topics to write on, or use the ones we provide.=0D=0A=0D=0APlease RSVP and we'll save you a seat.
