Everyone LOVED them and said they were fabulous! Most everyone was shocked that they actually enjoyed a vegan cookie, so thank you! The expressions were priceless :) I am very excited about the next class."=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AHave you ever wondered, "Is it possible to bake a great Vegan Cake without dairy or eggs"? Have you ever tried to bake without dairy or eggs and found that your cake was flat and dry, and just did not taste right? =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ASeptember’s Vegan Baking Class will teach you the secrets of baking a fantastic vegan banana bread, my traditional favorite, and a wonderful surprise recipe. My traditional banana bread was my first perfected vegan recipe, so it should be no surprise to any of you that I baked it every week for nearly two years. I always loved banana bread as a child and remember looking forward to my grandmother’s fresh baked bread. However as I grew older, I soon realized my grandmother’s banana bread was not fresh at all, it was from a box! When I was about 20, I decided to try baking banana bread myself. I got out my Crisco butter flavored shortening, milk, eggs, bananas, and bleached white flour. It should be no surprise to you this traditional non-vegan recipe was terribly dry and greasy. As a result, I did not attempt banana bread again for almost 10 years. After going vegan 3 years ago, I decided to give it another try and developed what I think is the best banana bread I’ve ever tasted. So, join me on Saturday and I will teach you how to bake this great recipe.=0D=0A=0D=0AWhere: Mill Valley, CA=0D=0A=0D=0ADirections: Contact Christine @ (415) 383-7949 ***Street parking and carpooling available.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0AFee: $10 per person=0D=0A=0D=0ACLASS LIMIT: 10 participants=0D=0A=0D=0ARSVP Deadline: Friday preceding class by 6pm=0D=0A=0D=0APre-registration is required to reserve your space.
