| Flacos | best mexican food EVER! wish they would open another store in the SF or peninsula. | 2011-05-29 |
| No Worries | yummy. i went with my filipino friend who is NOT vegetarian. i'm vegan. he didn't like it. he said the fake meat had an aftertaste. i LOVED it and will go back again with him! the chicken adobo (like mock duck) rocks! ask for no tomato garnish if you don't dig tomatos. | 2011-05-29 |
| Wholesome Bakery | Be Forewarned!! This vegan bakery is in a shared space with a sushi bar and a meat deli. The entire storefront smells, immediately, like meat. They really should move to another location. We voted one because the baked goods are great but the place smells like a slaughterhouse. | 2010-07-24 |
| Thai Idea Vegetarian | Housemate brought home take out. Styrofoam clam shell boxes. He brought Volcano "Beef" and "Kee Mao." Both were good! Lots of basil in the Volcano "beef." YUM! We were comparing the food to Green Papaya in Berkeley (our favorite) and it seemed less rich with complex flavors. Basil Cha Cha is good, So glad to have an option where we don't have to cross the bridge | 2010-03-27 |
| Gracias Madre | Absolutely loved the Quesadillas and Tamale. Salsas were great. Also tried the potatos which could be more "cheesy." Blue corn tortillas are super yummy. Suggested to Gen. Mgr. to make all dishes available A La Carte. One mojito got me super drunk but I hadn't eaten anything all day before I drank it. Groovy vibe.
EXPENSIVE !!!!!!! | 2010-01-04 |
| Loving Hut | we ordered from both the lunch and dinner menu. lemongrass rice plate was delicious but dry. needs sauce. the bean curd sheet five spice dish was much too salty. spicy "shrimp" needed a dipping sauce. overall, i'd say the food is too salty and the entrees need sauces over the faux meats. great service-super nice people. TV was on the whole time-distracting. | 2008-11-03 |
| Loving Hut | yummy but ***very small menu*** compared to the milpitas or SF restaurants. lots more "american style" food than asian style. great location. super nice people. if you're in the area and want faux meats, go to Garden Fresh in Mtn. View...Loving Hut in PA has a very limited menu. | 2008-11-02 |
| Pizza Plaza | Best pizza ever!!! Had the Hawaiian (minus the onions) and the Plaza Chicken. Each pizza took about 30 minutes so if you're in a rush, call ahead and order. SUPER NICE Folks!!!!! Will go back again and again. I wonder...how many calories in an XL pizza?!?! | 2007-02-03 |
| Bok Choy Garden | we used to love bok choy. after the change of ownership (November 2006) the entire place smelled like a broken sewer so we couldn't eat there. We stopped in again January 2007 and it smelled like a broken sewer plus that wet carpet moldy wet dog smell. bummed. it used to be one of our favorite places. they need to REMOVE all the carpet. | 2007-01-28 |
| Layonna Vegetarian | Average. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. The sauces are watery and taste similar so if you order several dishes, the lack of interesting sauce makes the food bland/boring. Both the "Sesame Chicken" and the "Lemon Chicken" comes with sweet and sour sauce. Sesame chicken should come with some kind of sesame sauce. Lemon chicken should have a lemon sauce, etc.
Boring. | 2007-01-28 |
| Vegetarian Gourmet | Similar to Garden Fresh/Mtn. View. Vegetarian with vegan options. Ask them to use the VEGAN meat. They are very accomodating to requests. Fast service, good food. | 2005-10-23 |
| Cha-Ya | My favorite. Worth the wait. Lunch is a super value! Far better than Medicine Eatstation (SF) in terms of price and portion size! | 2005-08-21 |
| Medicine New-Shojin Eatstation | Gorgeous decor, yummy food but pathetically small portions. Super expensive for portion size. Eat first elsewhere or go to Cha-Ya instead (bigger portions, better prices). Not at all a good value. | 2005-08-20 |
| Supreme Vegan | overpriced. one half of the menu items were not available. food was tasty. great value on large sized soups. suggestion: eat dinner elsewhere and go there for pie dessert. | 2005-04-16 |
| Pacifica Thai Cuisine | The mango sticky rice is great. Remember with Asian food, there is often hidden fish sauce (nam pla) or animal-broth in curries and many other dishes. | 2004-05-23 |
