Ultimate Guide Reviews
STOA Restaurant & Wine Bar They now serve fish and took away many vegan favorites. I will not be dining here anymore, but I wish them well. For vegan in Palo Alto go to Bay Leaf. 0 stars 2004-11-03
Millennium Almost everything on the menu has garlic in it. BUT they said if I call ahead of time they can make me a special meal. I will return for the dessert though! 3 stars 2004-10-07
Herbivore Great for garlic lovers, which would not be me. The waitress yesterday was very rude to us, but another time I went the waitress was very attentive to our non-garlic needs. HIT OR MISS 2 stars 2004-10-07
Empress Sarah's / Reggae Runnins Awesome vegan chocolate cake, very moist, went here after trying herbivore, wish i would have came here first, I look forward to my next visit, call before u go, they talked about moving. 5 stars 2004-09-03
BayLeaf Cafe Wonderful food, it's worth the $ and the time. Love the sushi, mighty carrot roll (we get not spicy) quesadila & mango smoothie! Owners are great to talk to. 5 stars 2004-08-22
Lu Lai Garden No longer has dim sum. if you like mock meat this place is loaded with it. Long menu without details. I only give it 2 starts because I like meals loaded with vegetables that aren't processed. 2 stars 2004-08-09
Good Karma Lots of mock meat, went for dinner-not much to choose from, they do have more to offer during the day. 2 stars 2004-08-09
Garden Fresh This was the first place we tried when we moved here last month, and we have become regulars. They can change dishes to your liking. Try the scallion pancake, spinach linguine w/ peanut sauce. 5 stars 2004-08-09
Bueno Bueno A vegan burrito just the way we like it! They tell you what the ingredients are even without asking. Can customize your order. No refried here! 5 stars 2004-08-09
Great Vegi Land The menu is mock meat loaded. They really cater to what the customer wants. We go just for the dumplings. 3 stars 2004-08-09
Sparks I give 4 stars because it's organic, wish they had some of the food they served at the PK party, however it is good food. 4 stars 2004-08-09
P.F. Chang's China Bistro Greasy, too many spices. the only thing we liked was the dumplings. 2 stars 2004-08-09
Whole Foods Market Good selection of organic produce if you can with stand the constant smell of fish and grilled meat. If you have the time go to the farmers market, much fresher! 2 stars 2004-08-09
Bay Area Naturally A guide worth picking up! Wish more people would advertise in it. 5 stars 2004-08-09
Common Ground Always has interesting articles. 5 stars 2004-08-09
Slice Of Life Great vegan italian food, the vegan "cheese" is worth trying, but we loved it without. Look forward to enjoying the breakfast next time we head up that way. Vegan french toast on the menu. 5 stars 2004-08-09
