Vegan Sweeties The chocolate cookies I tried were decent (they had nuts in them, not my favorite) but the brownie cookies were absolutely divine. Two thumbs up on both flavors from non-vegan husband! 4.5 stars 2008-02-21
Blue Mango If it was in SF, it would be a mediocre neighborhood Thai place, but for the area it's pretty good. Waitress was very good at communicating what was vegan and what wasn't (the menu was clear as well). The food was decent, nothing I'd make a special trip for but pretty good basic Thai fare. My friend said that the (non-vegan) chocolate cake was fantastic. 3.5 stars 2006-10-27
Big Lantern Dim Sum This is a great addition to the neighborhood. With a great vegetarian menu, free delivery and late hours, this is becoming one of my new favorite dinner spots. 4.5 stars 2006-05-21
Vegetarian House Food decent (heavy on mock meat dishes), service friendly, location clean and welcoming if a little weird. Must try the vegan fried ice cream - heavenly! Great selection of fresh vegan cakes too. 4 stars 2005-02-10
Urban Forage - Mission Disappointing food, small portions, overpriced. I won't go here again. The interior is very nice, true, but that doesn't make up for the food (and gives a reason why they overcharge for the food...) 1 stars 2004-06-28
