I often get the soy milkshakes. They make egg-free and dairy-free ice cream cakes (made to order), sundaes, etc. No vegan whipped cream yet, but I keep encouraging them to get some! That's great that they have tofu and all, but I'd much rather have the Southwest Burrito from El Tonyayense or the Veggie Tacos from El Metate. | El Metate | THE BEST VEGGIE TACOS in town! I don't know how they do it, maybe it's the spices and raw cole-slaw-esque veggies on top, but the tacos are SO YUMMY! YES! This is where it's at. I never order anything other than the 2 veggie tacos, no sour cream, no cheese. Once I ordered the same tacos with guacamole on them, and it watered down the zesty flavors.
