New Vegetarian in a new city

Hi, my name is Kristin and I just moved to San Francisco. Although I'm already in love with this city, I'm overwhelmed with trying to start all over. Ontop of the stresses of relocating and finding a new job, I have only been a vegetarian for 2 months. I know NO one else who shares this common ground with me, and my husbands job has him working closely with people in the restaurant business, which means lots of dinners with lots of meat eaters. I've never been happier with the choice to be a vegetarian but am feeling kinda alone. I was hoping this cite would help me find a starting place to meet like minded people.
If anyone has suggestions for the next step let me know, I'm all hears.

Im new to all this. I saw your post, and figured even though it has been awhile since you posted and nobody else responded, maybe I would check to see how your transition to the area has turned out? I know there are many Vegan/vegetarian restaurants in SF>
