Original Event Notes: You are invited to join us to celebrate Thanksgiving with a Vegan Food Party (VFP) in American Canyon, which is north of Napa.
We will share good food, fellowship, and fun at our home. After dining, there will be an optional walk along the Bay Trail adjacent to the marsh/wetlands of the Napa River.
Whether you are a new vegan, or have never eaten vegan food before, you are welcome to join us as long as you are open-minded and bring vegan food to share :-)
Time: Gather at 2 pm, eat at 2:30 pm
Location: Private Residence in American Canyon
Address / directions will be sent to all upon RSVP.
What is Vegan: Entirely plant-based foods, no animal or animal-based ingredients, such as eggs, dairy, whey, honey, casein, etc.
What to Bring:
- Thanksgiving-theme vegan food with minimum 8 servings (appetizer, entree, salad, dessert, etc); for couples or families, you can bring multiple dishes or increase the quantity of the dish you're bringing
- Serving utensil and ingredient list - click HERE for full info. You're welcome to "animal test" with new vegan recipes on hungry volunteers, too :-)
- Your own plate/utensils to eat with.
Note: We do not drink or smoke, and would appreciate that all guests refrain from those activities in our home, as well.
Help us coordinate our Thanksgiving dinner; please indicate what type of dish you will be bringing so we don't end up with twelve of them pumpkin pies. I can help with suggestions and let you know what's already being provided
For anyone with cat allergies, please note we are a cat home. Most likely one or two will deign to grace us with their presence.
