Friendly service, quick, simple foods - the potstickers (made in-house) are my favorite item on the menu. |

Inexpensive, informal, friendly. Plenty of seating. A large round table fits 6-8 people. Good savory flavors. Some spicy dishes. All vegan. Plenty of vegetables, not just tofu and gluten. No fake meats. Brown rice is available.
Wonton Soup has very tasty mushroom broth. Lohan Jai in Pot has an interesting variety of flavors and textures. Pot Stickers, Mu Shu Vegetables, Seaweed Soup are good. |

I'm not sure why someone would complain about the lack of garlic at a Buddhist inspired restaurant. Very unfair and ignorant... This is a nice neighborhood restaurant with many mostly healthy choices. And a very very devoted bunch of customers including second generation customers - that should tell you something. |

First of all if you like garlic (who doesn't?) then DO NOT COME HERE! There is a disclaimer posted in the restaurant that they do not cook with garlic which is mind boggling considering garlic is a staple of chinese cuisine. The ma po tofu was ok and the gluten puff with veggies came in grey, tasteless gravy and the gluten had the right out of the package taste. Go to Golden Lotus or Central. |

Absolutely love this place. Lady is very matter of fact; once you get to know her, will remember you and what you like even after two years! Thats what I call service. Try Cashew Pineapple Fried Rice! |
