The restaurant was temporarily closed (dining in lobby/bar area) but still worth 5 stars. Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, great service (the fireplaces are prepared for lighting & cleaned every day), convenient location to Mendocino, very dog friendly, and friendly in general. Gorgeous. Lots of amenities. Really enjoyed the private deck & view of grounds. Worth the splurge. |

Love, love the Stanford Inn and Ravens Restaurant. Very expensive once you get the final bill with all the taxes, etc. added on, but absolutely beautiful location, tasty vegan food (have the scone with your free breakfast!), and I can bring my dog. He loves the river beach just down the street. It's worth the splurge but do know that it's not a fancy resort type place. It's rustic and lovely. |

Celebrated my birthday with a romantic weekend at the Stanford Inn. Breathtaking views from our balcony. Lovely walks through the gardens. Cozy, natural rooms, each with a fireplace. Special treats (cookies, candies) left in your room each day. Inn staff was very friendly. 24-hour access to their pool and hot tub. Got to spend some time with a few Llamas. Short walk to Mendocino village. |

I really enjoyed this place. The rooms are nice, all with fireplaces, and most with views. The food is all veg, and mostly vegan. Breakfast is included - best pancakes I've ever had. Dinner is rather expensive, but worth it. In the afternoon, they provide wine, tea and snacks in the lobby, as well as treats brought to your room. Nice people, great service. |

A romantic inn up near Eureka. We had a room with a view- literally! We could see the water, horses, gardens, everything. Fireplace was toasty, and everything was really high class. The food at the Ravens, though, wasn't as good as expected. Well, it's no Millennium. |
