I love Saturn Cafe. They have lots of vegan options. My favorite is the shredded "chicken" burger. Another favorite - vegan shakes. | kmeldrum Reviews: 24 |

I agree about the lack of vegan choices. Why no cooked green vegetables on menu? They seem careless in food preparation. I ordered the vegan version of the Saturn Spuds, which were incompletely cooked and tasted dirty. I also tried the "vegan breakfast," whose tofu scramble had a pasty flour texture. Neither nutritious nor fulfilling. I'm sorry to write a bad review, and I hope they improve. | Jon Spear Reviews: 8 |

While the outside isn't as striking as their Santa Cruz location, the interior is even better: funky, fun, quieter. The garlic fries which I tasted needed more garlic; I'd ask for extra. The service is extremely friendly. Great location near the university and very kid friendly. I need to eat there: I remember enjoying the veggies & brown rice w/sauce. They're very vegan friendly, in my opinion. | LHLisavegan Reviews: 65 |

Excellent service--friendly, efficient, fast--in an interior with unpleasant color and decor, small number of vegan choices, most of which are high fat oily type plates such as the fries, nachos, veggie burgers, stir fries. Not impressed at all with Saturn and much more satisfied with Herbivore around the corner and down the block. | Vegan Living Reviews: 95 |

I was there on their opening day. While it is an enjoyable place to hang out, with awesome service (even on the first day), the sad truth is that there are limited options for vegans. That said, having been to Santa Cruz location sporadically over several years, the garlic fries and the vegan shakes remain wonderful choices, even at this new Berkeley location. | tammy Reviews: 139 |
