3.5 out of 5 stars Now offering $7.99 buffet all you can eat lunch and dinner. Three of the buffet entree items were vegan, plus one of the rice selections, salad, papdum cracker,& vegan chapati bread instead of naan. For those who prefer Southern Indian and supporting an all vegetarian place, go to Udupi Palace on University Ave. This restaurant offers a decent meal at a low price and does serve beer and wine. 4 out of 5 stars This new restaurant incarnation offers reasonably priced lunch meals, with veg and vegan options. For a vegan meal choose a veg meal without cheese (paneer) and sub nan with a chapathi and sub jeera rice (white, buttered) with plain brown rice. There was no issue getting these subs when I requested a vegan meal, but tell them you want vegan to avoid any butter. PLUS: tablecloths, table service. greg
