BAVeg Programs
Bay Area Vegetarians offers several programs based on our model of CARE (Community, Advocacy, Resources, and Education). These programs, and their associated events and activities, are available to both members, their guests, and the general community. To keep them accessible to everyone, most events and programs are free, managed/run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations from attendees and supporters.
Veggie Mentor Program
Provides support, encouragement, and suggestions to new, aspiring, and lapsed vegetarians via online communication and special events & activities.
Compassionate Living Program
Examines and presents different topics related to vegetarian living, education, and advocacy via speakers, discussions, and films.
Advocacy Rewards Program
Recognize and thank individuals for their contributions and support to BAVeg advocacy events, activities, and programs.

Half and full day workshop series around vegetarianism and animal rights.
