Poor execution. Everything was very overcooked and bland. The Vada was dry and crumbly. The chai was tasteless. Even the naan bread was tasteless. The Saag was so thoroughly pureed that it was like burned spinach soup. I think that they don't cook fresh, but keep the food for multiple days. We ordered from a menu, but the food tasted like it had been sitting on a buffet warmer for a very long time | tristanbe Reviews: 1 |

What stands out about Darbar for me is that it's spicy.... *really* spicy. Too spicy for me to handle, although in general I love Indian food. Darbar does a good job with a sampler platter at dinnertime, but when the only thing I can manage to keep down is the cucumber-yogurt dip, well... let's just say it's not my best choice. | diane Reviews: 4 |

What stands out about Darbar is its weekday lunch buffet. For $10: all you can eat, predominantly vegetarian and quite varied selection. The dinner menu is very nice but not so much different from other local Indian Restaurants. Janta down the street is perhaps better for dinner, but its lunch buffet is far less exciting (though cheaper). | Bendavidow Reviews: 4 |
