1 out of 5 stars Scratched a foody itch, but left me hungry afterward. It was never clear what items were free of dairy and eggs and our server didn't seem to grasp the question. And only vegetarian friendly on the surface - animal lovers note - in a bizarre move, the owner and chef used legal loopholes to supply foie gras to Psycho Donuts for a June 2013 spite-the-vegetarians giveaway promotion. 0 out of 5 stars I went here for the first time recently and enjoyed sampling the vegan menu. But I will no longer go back to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone else due to finding out Chef Ayers serves foie gras "on the sly" Also, he was quoted here http://abcnews.go.com/Business/foie-gras-doughnut-outdoes-dunkins/story?id=19323684 He banned me from Calafia's FB page for asking about it. iamaduck

4.5 out of 5 stars We have been there 2 times and I enjoy the vegan love fest pizza, with a side of the braised greens & almond butter(which makes the pizza even better). Recently I tried the tofu rojo wrap, it was OK. This is a good restaurant to go to when you have non-vegans with you, everyone will leave satisfied. There are still are few menu items I haven't tried so we will come back. They also have juices. robertb

4 out of 5 stars Would give it a 5 if they had Vegan desserts, they may at times. The food was rich and very good. Tofo Lentil loaf came with vegan mashed potatoes. Pot pie is small but really good, get the Braised Greens & Almond Butter and you will be very satisfied! dougefresh
