VEGAN PUMPKIN ROLLS! Kind of like cream cheese rolls! Excellent vegan sandwiches and soups. The place is kind of small, with small tables, but the food is excellent. It's on the corner with light coming in from both sides, and they have art for sale and live DJs sometimes. Finally got to try it - loved my vegan selections -- warm sandwich ($8 for sandwich alone), potato salad, double-layer black china mocha cake (worth it for this alone!) -- wonderful place for a casual meal and conversation with friends. It is a tad pricey but I enjoyed it. Would definitely return. | Reviews: 139 |

Have ordered vegan sloppy joe and meatball sandwiches from them several times and have never been disappointed. They also carry double-layer Black China German chocolate and peanut butter chocolate cakes and several BC cupcakes, bagels, delicious corn bread, and other snacks. Owner used to waitress at New World Vegetarian, where she was stellar. Breakroom is equally stellar - 5 stars! Check it out | Veggie247 Reviews: 8 |

This place is absolutely top-notch. The sandwiches are really the focus. (every sandwich is veggie and most are vegan or can be made vegan.) But the coffee's excellent too, the staff is friendly, and the sweets delicious. I only wish they were open later, but as they're open later than most places in downtown Oakland, I can't complain. It's a new shop, and I expect it to stay a long time! | Beastie Reviews: 1 |

If you like the warm vegi sandwiches, this is the place you cannot miss. I enjoyed the Marinated Tofu and Club Sandwiches most. The Fair Trade coffee is also a plus. The salad and sandwiches combo is also a good option. I like the green salad and my wife love the potato salad. The best soup is the chicken noodle soup and I can never forget the taste. Just come and experience it. You will like it. | peace414 Reviews: 3 |
